org.springframework.web.client.HttpClientErrorException: 400 Bad Request

I'm using spring boot. I have a rest api POST call that I need to send the body using x-www-form-urlencoded, there are no headers needed for the call. I can hit this url from postman and a row is created successfully in db. But when I try to call this from Java side I'm getting a 400 bad request exception.

Below is what I tried in Java.

How do I fix this?

This is what worked for me. Issue is earlier I didn't set Content Type(header) when I used exchange method.

ExternalCallBadRequestException and ExternalCallServerErrorException are the custom exceptions here.

Note: Remember HttpClientErrorException is thrown when a 4xx error is received. So if the request you send is wrong either setting header or sending wrong data, you could receive this exception.
